Chris Isaak delves into the classic Sun Records catalog with his 2011 album Beyond the Sun. Long an avowed fan of the influential rockabilly, country, and rock & roll cuts produced by the legendary Sam Phillips in the '50s, Isaak entered the iconic Memphis studio to record his tribute. Included are cuts originally recorded by such artists as Elvis Presely, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and others. ~ Matt Collar
