Havok BURN

Based in Denver, Colorado, Havok is an ardent acolyte of the classic 1980s thrash-metal sound, as revealed on its 2009 debut, BURN. Most directly influenced by Exodus and Testament, the group deftly avoids over-the-top metal-core pitfalls, in favor of a relatively melodic, yet always fierce, approach, which is evident on the dynamic "Ivory Tower."
