The six-foot-something R&B heartthrob is back with his latest, GET IT ON...TONITE. Def Soul's Montell Jordan continues to sweet talk the ladies with his blend of R&B and hip-hop. On his fourth album, he gives R&B new life by bringing that ol' mature sound back to the genre. The album contains a nice balance, with one side dedicated to the dance floor and the other side all about the slow jam. The title track is Montell at his best, with production that defies beats that were current in R&B at the time of the CD's release. Guest artists are kept to a minimum, keeping the album focused solely on Montell.
