Considered by some to be the father of Southern thug rap, Houston-based MC and former Geto Boy Scarface (a.k.a. Brad Jordan) has been in the hardcore game since the mid '80s. After releasing a string of successful solo albums, Scarface has become something of a venerated figure in the rap world, guesting on dozens of albums and getting shoutouts from heavy-hitters like Biggie Smalls and 50 Cent. THE PRODUCT finds Scarface assuming the "elder statesman" role, presiding over an outfit of eager up-and-comers that include Mississippi's Young Malice and San Francisco's Will Hen.
